Greene County Room Digital Collections
The digital collections are part of the Greene County Public Library located in Xenia, Ohio. The Greene County Room (GCR) houses one of the largest collections of local history and genealogy in southwest Ohio. It's research collections contain information about Greene County, all other Ohio counties, and includes out-of-state and international resources.
All GCR materials are non-circulating and are not available through inter-library loan.
Located on the second floor of the Xenia library, the research area accommodates up to 25 researchers at a time. Microfilm and microfiche readers and printers are available.
The Greene County Room is open the same hours as the Xenia Library:
Mon., Tues., & Thur., Noon to 8 p.m.
Wed., 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Fri., 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sat., 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sun., 1p.m - 5 p.m. (Sept. thru May)
Free parking is located behind the library building. The library is located in downtown Xenia and is close to several restaurants and motels.
